Honoring Those Who Care For Our Veterans
Inspired by Veteran John Wasson
Dedicated to the Grand Junction VA Hospital CLC Wing.
A message of gratitude for the nurses, aides, doctors, cooks, therapists, support staff, caregivers, and every person whose service helps veterans feel seen, respected, and cared for.

This audio is included for reporters, VA staff, community partners, veteran organizations, and supporters reviewing the project.
John Wasson had a simple but powerful idea: thank the people who show up every day to care for veterans.
The song exists to recognize the often-unseen work of nurses, aides, doctors, cooks, therapists, caregivers, support staff, and every person helping veterans through care, dignity, and respect.
Core message: every act of service matters. Every act of kindness matters. Every person who cares for veterans matters.
Many songs are heard. Few songs reach the people they were written for. This one did.
